Prairie Windmill 2 | 12 x 4 | Original

This second painting in a set of three was inspired by a drive down the highway nearest our home on a beautiful evening with a pink sky.  The sky colour complimented the pale yellow wheat straw from the previous summer so well.

This 12 x 3 inch acrylic was painted with a silicon blade, resulting in lots of beautiful, loose texture!
