Part of a shoreline collection from a few years ago, this is the last piece of that collection I have.
The part of lakes that inspires me often is the shoreline...where the water meets the land and all the interactions and reflections that happen there.
This piece reminds me of a lake visited by our family that not only has majestic coniferous trees up to the edge, but also shallow, marshy areas where the vegetation is shorter.
Acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas with the painting extending around the edges. 24 x 18 inches.
